An impressive and ornate space which exudes grandeur and opulence yet feels intimate and very much a space to host a party. With one of the best late licenses in London, this space is perfect for a brilliant party or wedding. The two floors see spaces perfect for dinners, receptions and wedding ceremonies and the venue is also widely used for product launches, filming and brand events.
Dinners, up to 120
Receptions, up to 300

We are recommend planners for Two Temple Place and have delivered a variety of events within the spaces. Wedding work especially well as the house has such an exclusive feel and while grand, also feels very intimate. Two Temple Place is an incredible hidden gem, located in the heart ofLondon just south of the Strand and just moments from Temple underground station. The venue overlooks the River Thames with brilliant views from the first floor windows. Built for William Waldorf Astor in 1895, this incredible example of Victorian architecture is excellent for a range of events from weddings to product launches, dinners to receptions. Two Temple Place is wholly owned by a charity, The Bulldog Trust, and all income generated through venue hire is invested back into the charity’s work, funding the community and education programmes and free public exhibition programme. The spaces is available to hire from May to December each year. The crowning feature of the venue is the incredible central staircase which leads up to the first floor.
The woodwork and intricate carvings are topped with a beautiful stained glass ceiling roof making for a truly impressive journey for dinner. At Christmas time, the fires can be lit and a pianist playing at the bottom of the stairs, which feels very magical and extremely festive. We find that private events work especially well within the venue as the house is yours fully making it feel like an exclusive house party.Despite the building dating back to 1895, the team are very flexible and allow real candles, late license and red wine – something that other heritage venues are sometimes unable to accommodate. The venue is fully licensed for wedding ceremonies for up to 120 guests, with capacity for an additional 30 guests for the evening reception. We recommend a ceremony on the first floor within theMain Hall followed by drinks on the ground floor whilst the upstairs space is transformed for the wedding breakfast. Later dancing is perfect on the ground floor. TwoTemple Place have a brilliant late license which can be extended until 4am!
