This dinner was an explosion of colour, ranging right through the colour palette with stripes and pattern as well. Sometimes when it comes to Summer celebrations, more is more and it's simply fun to celebrate colour.

This dinner was an explosion of colour, ranging right through the colour palette with stripes and pattern as well. Sometimes when it comes to Summer celebrations, more is more and it's simply fun to celebrate colour.
A mix of oval and long tables was the perfect set up for this summer look, complete with colourful and striped parasols. When we say an alfresco dinner, we have not admit, that's not entirely true - the venue is in fact the Wallace Collection and the tables are sat within the beautiful blush pink of the fully glazed courtyard.
The florals, running down the middle of each table, ran right through the colour palette, both with the vases and the flowers themselves. The collection of buds had such a gorgeous pop of impact and felt as if they summed up summer. Mixed within the flowers were colourful tapers hosted within glass holders.
Our linens and tableware was patterned, a striped tablecloth here, a leaf charger plater there and an illustrated menu sat atop of the plates.
Designing such a joyful, colourful set up really was so exciting. Let us all bask in the colours of summer evermore.
