We are biased, of course as we are based in London but it really is one of the most incredible cities in the world. The culture, the history, the architecture. If you've never been, you really must visit. It's got a buzz but without the madness of New York, it's got the access to the countryside in less than an hour, there's the modern city and the traditional West End. We have lived in London for many, many years however it just never gets old. If you're currently planning a wedding in London or perhaps just considering the idea we're here to advise. We're London pros, especially when it comes to hosting weddings here. We adore a countryside wedding however there's something so exciting about a city wedding.
The venues
Oh the venues you'll visit and the places you'll see. You really are totally spoilt in London when it comes to venues. We find that so many of our couples who are planning a wedding in London lean towards the unique venues. Think, the iconic museums and galleries. or even the modern skyscrapers. We are so lucky to be listed at a number of these venues as preferred planners. We just think very little beats being able to call a museum yours for the evening. Sitting under the ceiling of some of the most breathtaking spaces really does take some beating.
The planning
Of our London wedding couples around half are not from London. Planning an event in your home city is quite a feat however doing it in a city you don't live in, is something else! Not being on the ground has its challenges which is where we come in. A lot of the unique venues we work within are dry hire spaces. This means that all the services, the suppliers and equipment must be bought in for your event. Being based within the city, we can easily attend face to face meetings, pop to the venues to measure up or get a sense of how something may work and really provide that London support.
Our little black book
As the saying goes, 'It's all about who you know' and that's definitely true when it comes to planning a wedding in London. We have the best suppliers a quick call away. From the most incredible cake makers through to the finest caterers or even access to some of London's most desired bridal boutiques - we have a black book to envy. When couples work closely with us, they have access to this list. We take time to understand them as a couple, understand their perfect day and then curate the best possible team.
The intricacies of a city
Every city has its own way of working. We've planned in other cities around the UK and the world and they all have their own beat, their own 'way'. We know London inside out. The shortcuts to venues, the best parking spots, the secret venues. We love our city and we adore sharing this information.
